Generic Name: ALUMINIUM HYDROXIDE + MAGNESIUM HYDROXIDE
Indications/Uses: For symptomatic relief of hyperacidity associated functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, gastritis and esophagitis.
Administration: Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hour after each meal and at bedtime. Swallow whole w/ water. May be chewed then swallow w/o water.
Contraindications: Should not be used in patients with known allergy to any of its ingredients and those who are severely weak or suffering from kidney failure.
Special Precautions: Risk of Al & Mg accumulation & toxicity w/ advanced kidney disease.
Side Effects: Diarrhea, constipation, stomach cramps, burping, nausea and vomiting.
