Generic Name: CLINDAMYCIN
Indications/Uses: Used to treat serious infections caused by bacteria.
Administration: May be taken with or without food: Take w/ full glass of water to avoid esophageal irritation.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin. Newborn (infants <30 days).
Special Precautions: Patients with history of gastrointestinal disease; Severe hepatic impairment. Children, Pregnancy and lactation.
Side Effects: Abdominal or stomach cramps, pain, or tenderness, black, tarry stools, nausea or vomiting.
