Generic Name: CARBOCISTEINE
Indications/Uses: Expel phlegm with bacteria, and Stop excess production of phlegm *Please read patient information leaflet for complete product information before use.
Administration: Should be taken with food.
Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer and in cases of known hypersensitivity to Carbocisteine or any of the components of the product.
Special Precautions: Taking of multiple antitussive agents with Carbocisteine is not recommended. Patients with a history of peptic ulceration should be examined prior to carbocisteine administration to exclude the presence of an active ulcer.
Side Effects: Nausea, diarrhea, skin rash, headache, dizziness, insomnia, palpitations, mild hypoglycemia, dry mouth, flatulence, stomach discomforts, irregular and often fast heart rate.
Regulatory Classification: Do not exceed recommended daily dose.
