Generic Name: AMOXICILLIN
Indications/Uses: Used to treat many different types of infection caused by bacteria, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract.
Administration: May be taken with or without food: May be taken w/ meals for better absorption & to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin
Special Precautions: Impaired renal function, hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
Side Effects: Allergic reaction to amoxicillin such as hives, difficult breathing, swelling in your face or throat. Or severe skin reaction such as fever, sore throat, burning eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling.
