Generic Name: AMOXICILLIN
Indications/Uses: Used to treat many different types of infection caused by bacteria, such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, and infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract.
Administration: May be taken with or without food: May be taken with meals for better absorption and to reduce GI discomfort.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin.
Special Precautions: Impaired renal function.
Side Effects: Allergic reaction (hives, difficult breathing, swelling in your face or throat) or a severe skin reaction (fever, sore throat, burning eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling).
