Hyoscine N-butylbromide (Hiospan) 10mg tablet
Formulation:
Each film- coated contains: Hyoscine N-butylbromide - 10mg
Indication:
Indicated in spasm of the gastrointestinal or genito-urinary tracts, biliary dyskinesia, And in the prevention and treatment of spasmodic dysmenorrhea.
Dosage:
Orally: 1 -2 tablets, three to four times daily in dysmenorrhea: treatment should commence 2 days before the expected onset of the period and continue for 3 days after menstruation has begun.
Children: 6-12 years
Orally: 1 table three times daily
Attention
Anticholinergies such as Hyoscine N-Butylbromide should be used with caution in the following conditions: Patients with Down's syndrome, hepatic or renal disease and hyperthyroidism.
